Angelus Academy Collects Food for Christ House

The Angelus Academy students brought from home non-perishable food items to donate to the Christ House food pantry. Each morning as the students arrived at school, they joyfully placed their food donations in the boxes lining the lobby. The students filled 10 food boxes that they had decorated to look like Easter baskets.

Lisa McCrumb, first grade teacher, delivered the boxes of food to Christ House located in Alexandria. She said, “The folks at Christ House were very appreciative of our food donations.” The kindergarteners are pictured with the foods collected. Angelus Academy is an independent elementary school (Pre-K through 8th grade) serving Catholic families in Northern Virginia.
