Angelus: Hatching Chickens.....REALLY!!!!!

Second Grade Hatches Chicks!!!

Mrs. Mullen’s Second Grade class has some exciting news to share with you! They hatched 3 baby chicks! Mrs. Mullen obtained some eggs from a 4H program. She kept them in an incubator. The students observed the chicks growing inside the eggs. When it got closer to the chicks arrival, the students saw the eggs rock back and forth. At long last, the 3 chicks pecked and kicked their way out of the eggs! Second grade shared their joy with the entire school! Mrs. Mullen safely returned the chicks back to the 4H folks!

Angelus: Fun times seven...at Jog-A-Thon 2011!!!!!

The Angelus Academy Jog-A-Thon was another huge success thanks to our PE teacher, Mrs. Bruen! The Good Lord provided a beautiful day for the event! The children and adults had a blast while doing 30 laps around the school circle! Some folks were quite competitive while others were very creative! We were blessed to have a few special guests from St. Lawrence join us --- Fr. Tomasz, Mrs. Thibeau, and a homeschooling family of Luisa, Emily and Jon --- thank you all very much! Many thanks to Mrs. Fritschner for all the great pics!

And thanks to all who donated to the 2011 Jog-A-Thon!!!!!!!!
