The flags were flying high at Angelus Academy on November 10 as students and faculty honored our active duty military members and our veterans at Mass, during a patriotic song salute, and at a special reception.
The procession before Mass was led by active duty United States Army officer Matt Riordan and Army Veteran Mr. Fred Kemp. Many thanks to Mrs. Gale Michael and the ladies of Angelus Academy who baked delicious goodies for the Veterans Day reception.
May our Lord send His angels to protect all our military members and their families. GOD BLESS THE USA!
PS. There was not a dry eye in the house as the children serenaded the Veterans with their rendition of Lee Greenwood's "Proud to be an American".
